Vouchers and perks

Finding, buying, using and claiming vouchers and perks.

How do I buy a voucher?

Open the business's Space page and its Deals tab, then tap Details on the voucher you want. The voucher page shows the price, what the voucher is worth and when it is valid. Tap "Buy for" (with the price). On some Space pages, such as restaurants and cafes, the buttons say "View detail" and "Buy now" instead. If you're not signed in, you're asked to sign in first. You pay on our payment partner's secure page, then come back to a page that says "Your voucher is ready" with your voucher code, and the voucher is in My Vouchers. If the page says "Payment didn't complete", no voucher was reserved and you can try again. If it says "Payment received" and that your voucher is being issued, wait a moment and check My Vouchers. Don't pay again.

Where do I see the vouchers I have?

Sign in and open Vouchers (/vouchers) in your account menu; the page is called My Vouchers. Your vouchers are sorted into four tabs: Active, Gifted, Redeemed and Expired. If a tab is empty, it says "No vouchers in this status.", which just means nothing is filed there. Tap a voucher to open its details.

A voucher you bought at a business's counter isn't in My Vouchers. The staff give you its code when you pay: keep it, because that code is your voucher.

How do I use a voucher at the shop?

Open Vouchers in your account menu (the page is called My Vouchers) and tap Redeem on the voucher. A QR code appears with the caption "Show this QR to the cashier", and the voucher code is printed under it. Show it to the staff and they scan it, or type the code if they can't scan. You don't need to press anything else. If you bought the voucher at the counter, show the staff the code they gave you.

Some passes are used when you book rather than at the counter. They show no QR code; instead they show a "Book Now" button, or a note on how to reserve with the pass.

When does my voucher expire?

Each voucher in My Vouchers shows its expiry date ("Exp:"), and its details show "Expires", or "No expiry" when it has none. Some vouchers also can't be used on certain days or dates; the details list these under "Usage rules". Once the expiry date passes, the voucher moves to the Expired tab, even before its status is updated. The tab it sits in is the best guide to whether it will be accepted.

Can I use the same voucher twice?

Usually not. Each voucher shows how many times it has been used, for example "0/1 used", and most vouchers can be used once. Some vouchers, such as a pass for several visits, allow more uses, and the counter goes up each time you use one. When the counter reaches the limit, the voucher moves to the Redeemed tab and can't be used again.

Can I give my voucher to someone else?

No. The hub has no "send as gift" action for your own vouchers. The Gifted tab shows gifts that are waiting to be claimed, but you can't start a gift from My Vouchers or from a voucher's page. If you want a voucher to go to someone else, ask the business that issued it.

I bought a voucher and it is not in my account

Make sure you're signed in with the same account you paid with, then check the Active, Gifted and Expired tabs in My Vouchers. After you buy or claim a voucher, the confirmation page adds it to your account. Don't pay again. If it's still missing, email [email protected] and include your order number and the time you paid.

Can I cancel or return a voucher?

You can't do that yourself. Voucher pages only show a voucher's status, and there's no cancel, return or refund button. Refund terms are set by each business, so ask the business that issued the voucher. If you can't reach them, email [email protected] and include your order number.

What are perks and how do I claim them?

Perks are offers you earn at events, courses and spaces. They appear in My Perks under "Ready to claim", sometimes with a "claim by" date. Tap Claim, and once the perk is issued it becomes a voucher in My Vouchers, with its code shown.

My perk claim failed or says missed

If a claim couldn't be issued, the perk shows "Try again". Tap it to retry. Perks you didn't claim in time, or that can no longer be issued, appear under "Missed", with a short note on what happened. If that note asks you to contact support, email [email protected] and give the perk's name.
