Courses
Finding, joining and paying for courses, and getting back into one you have enrolled in.
Where do I find courses on the site?
Open Courses in the hub. You can filter by topic. Each course has its own page with the description, the instructor and the curriculum. If a topic has nothing in it you'll see "No courses in this topic yet."
Do I need an account to join a course?
Yes. You can read course pages without signing in, but enrolling, free or paid, is tied to your account; until you sign in the button says "Sign in to continue" ("Sign in to enrol" on a phone). Enrol with the same account you will learn with, because your access and progress belong to that account.
How do I sign up for a free course?
Open the course and tap "Enrol Now". A free course enrols you straight away with no payment, and the page then shows "Enrolled — You have access to this course".
How do I pay for a course?
Paid courses are sold as a seat in a cohort. Tap "Buy Seat" to go to our payment partner's secure page. Your seat in the course's next open cohort is confirmed once the payment goes through; no seat is held for you before you pay.
What is a seat and what is a cohort?
A cohort is a group that takes the course together on a schedule, and a seat is your place in one cohort. Buying a paid course means buying a seat. A cohort can fill up: if it has no seats left, or no cohort is open, you can't buy a seat until one opens.
I paid but I can't open my course
A seat can take a few minutes to appear after you pay. Give it a few minutes and reload the course page. Also check that you are signed in with the same account you paid with. If it is still missing, don't buy a second seat — email [email protected] with the course name, your account email and your order number.
I already enrolled, how do I get back to my course?
Open the course's page while signed in. You'll see "Enrolled" with a link into your cohort.
Where are the lessons and the class schedule?
Inside your cohort. The cohort page shows your progress and the lesson list, and opening a lesson lets you work through it. The Meetings page lists scheduled sessions: online sessions open from their link, and onsite sessions open map directions.
Can I cancel a course or get my money back?
There is no cancel or refund button for courses. Refunds are up to whoever runs the course, so contact them, or email [email protected] with the course name and your order number.
