What xquare is

The basics: what xquare is, what you can do on it, and who you are dealing with when you buy.

What is xquare?

xquare is a platform where businesses and communities each run a page, called a space, and people find them, join them and buy from them. A space can belong to a restaurant, a shop, a church, a creator or a community group. Each space decides what it offers, such as memberships, vouchers, event tickets, courses or bookings. xquare provides the site, your account and the checkout. The business behind each space provides the product, sets its own terms, and is who you deal with when something goes wrong.

What is a hub, and which hubs can I visit?

A hub is a whole website built on xquare, with its own web address and its own list of spaces. xquare.net is one hub. The Hubs page lists the hubs that are published publicly. From xquare.net that includes the creator hub at grow.xquare.net. A hub can exist without being listed, so if someone gives you a hub's address, open it directly. Spaces are not shared between hubs, so a space you saw on one hub may not appear on another.

What can I actually do on xquare?

You can browse spaces and read them without an account. Once signed in you can join a space, and where a business has set them up you can buy a voucher, get an event ticket, take a course, join a membership or book with a venue. Your purchases collect under My Orders, My Vouchers, My Bookings and My Memberships in your account. Where a venue allows it, you can reschedule a booking yourself. To cancel one, contact the venue.

Does it cost anything to use xquare?

No. Creating an account, browsing and joining a space are free, and an ordinary account has no subscription fee. You pay only for a specific thing you choose to buy from a business, such as a voucher, a ticket, a course, a paid membership or a booking deposit. The price is shown before you confirm.

Do I need an account to look around?

Not to look. Spaces, space pages, events and courses can be read while signed out. You need an account for anything tied to you: My Spaces, My Orders, My Wallet, My Vouchers, My Bookings, My Memberships, your Inbox and the Affiliate Program. If you open one of those while signed out, you are sent to the sign-in page and brought back afterwards.

Why do so many pages look empty?

A space only shows what its business has published, so an empty list usually means that business has not published anything there yet, not that something is broken. If a business told you about something you cannot find, ask them for a direct link.

Am I buying from xquare or from the business?

From the business. Each space is run by its own business, which sets its prices, its terms, and its cancellation and refund rules. You pay on our payment partner's secure page, not by typing card details into the hub. When something goes wrong with an order, a booking or a voucher, contact the business you bought from first. You can message them from your Inbox.

What language and currency does xquare use?

Prices are shown in Indonesian rupiah. The interface is mostly English, but some screens and messages are in Indonesian, for example the Inbox and the message you get if you try to join a membership you already have. That mix is expected. If a message matters and you cannot read it, copy it exactly when you ask for help.

What can xquare not do?

You cannot add money to your wallet yourself. Money arrives there only as refunds or credits from a business, and a wallet balance cannot be cashed out. There is no cancel button for bookings; to cancel, contact the venue. There is no "send as gift" button for vouchers. If you need a person, email [email protected] and include any order or booking number.
